Waking up queasy, gaging while brushing teeth and the beloved morning coffee no longer sitting well in the tum tum. The result, spending several hours a day with her head in the toilet. This was the routine for one unlucky MOBster who is expecting #2, that was until she tested the Preggie Pop Drops. Once she tried the Drops, relief came within minutes. Amazing! She keeps them in her nightstand drawer and pops one in her mouth before she gets out of bed in the morning. She said this helps curb the queasies before she even stands up!
Preggie Pop Drops come in original formula and have an Organic version too. Developed by healthcare professionals these delicious sour fruit drops have the same special formulation used in Preggie Pops. Each flavor has been specially selected. This special recipe includes essential oils which not only provide an effective way to soothe the tummy, but also alleviate dry mouth and give you a quick energy boost. Pure enough to carry a Kosher certification and made in the USA.
Not only do they offer relief for morning sickness, Queasy Drops help with a queasy stomach associated with motion sickness and chemotherapy. Check out all products and flavors - there are many to choose from.

Mission Impossible: Cool as a Cucumber
As my sons' eyes turn red and start to tear up, my heart begins to break. I lost my patience once again. I tell myself each night before I go to bed, I will try harder tomorrow not to lose my cool.
I'll start at the beginning. I was rushing around trying to get everything gathered so we could get out of the house on time. In the meantime, my darling Prince opened the fridge and grabbed the chocolate sauce and is asking for chocolate milk. He proceeds to get chocolate on his hands and shirt. Frustrated, and already running late, I bend down look him right in the eye and say "Look at you. You are a mess. Don't move while I get a wipe" Upon my return, he moved from the kitchen to the dark laundry room. I turned on the light and he turned away from me. I bent down and he turned around with red watery eyes and a quivering lip. I wanted to cry on the spot. I pulled my tot in for a giant hug and told him sorry. This was the first time he has reacted this way. I'm guessing he is now comprehending reprimand and I hurt his feelings. Why did I lose my cool over something as small as chocolate sauce? Probably because that wasn't the first disaster of the morning.
I need to start taking lessons from the Man in the Yellow Hat on Curious George. That crazy monkey is always causing chaos and the Man in the Yellow Hat is always so calm, even when George floods their apartment, tears off all the wallpaper in the bathroom or buys 100 dozen doughnuts. He turns those moments into learning opportunities instead. That man is a saint!

Pacifier Pals
A fellow MOBster tested out the WubbaNub and gave it a rave review. Her newest bambino is just 8 weeks and really took to his new plush pacie. To her surprise it stayed put while resting on his chest. And when she met a friend for lunch, both their boys were sporting the coolest binkies around. The friend’s baby is a few months older and is able to grab for the WubbaNub and get it into his mouth by himself. And you experienced moms know that would be impossible for a regular old pacifier.
The WubbaNubs use latex-free medical grade silicone pacifiers and are therefore safe for all babies with latex allergies. They are also commissioned and used by hospitals and NICUs, nation-wide, clearly tested and trusted by the best doctors in the country.
The WubbaNub retails for around $10 and is available at mom4life.com, amazon.com, and at many boutiques nation-wide, including the quite hip – Kitson Kids in LA.
And if the above hasn't sold you yet, check out the testimonials of happy moms. I'm sold - when we have another baby, this will be one of the first things I purchase!

Potty Training for Dummies
I'm the Dummy and I need this book! I've never done this before, I have only potty trained a dog. Two different species, two different methods. I've read the "signs of readiness" and tips a hundred times. I've checked out a video from the library and I just got my Free Huggies DVD in the mail (but I still need to watch it). But none of these resources has yet to tell me to ditch the diapers and go to underwear first thing. I thought once we have the potty thing under control, then I would make the switch. Apparently, diapers confuse the little ones - see, I'm the dummy and need it spelled out for me! Also, why do they have all boys start peeing sitting down - then we have to re-train to stand up? And when your dude goes #2 on the potty, what is the best way to wipe his tush clean?
After talking to some veteran potty training moms here are some of the answers to the above questions that aren't easy to find in print.
*As soon as you decide to start the process, purchase some undies or pull-ups and keep your diapers for overnight.
*Most moms start their boys out sitting for both #1 & 2. After more research I found that often bowels and urine come at the same time, so you may want to wait for the standing pee lesson until he is a bit more accustomed to the whole potty thing.
*And for clean up after #2, have your tot lean forward while still sitting on the pot and clean away with your leftover diaper wipes or other "wet" wipes for potty training bottoms. Believe me, these work a thousand times better than regular old toilet paper.
If you have any great tips to share, please post a comment to this blog. All of us Potty Training Rookies would appreciate it!

Feeling Sexy?
Not that I have the energy, but a little action once in a while would be interesting, and possibly more exciting if I would just press the "add to cart" button while browsing the Frederick's of Hollywood site.
Take, for instance, this Embroidered Babydoll, just $38 and comes in red, pink, white or black. It has beautiful floral embroidery on the cups, adjustable straps and matching G-string. It's not too over the top, but obvious what your intentions are.
Prefer something a bit less revealing? This chemise features beautiful lace insets at thigh and bust. Regularly $20 but a few of the colors are on sale for just $14.99. Search for your fave here: Frederick's- Lingerie
Need one last enticement? How about a discount? Check it out and get some spice in your bedroom. The satin/silky kind...not the dusty candle kind.

Take it on the road in style
My cup cabinet is laced with boring black or stainless steel travel mugs. Lets face it, my current mugs do nothing to brighten my morning except for the magical mood lifter (caffeine) that is inside. I'm guessing there are more MOBsters that could use a little extra joy with their cup of joe. So, when I found these beauties they became this week's Queen Goody!
This 16 ounce insulated travel mug features a stainless steel lining with sleek acrylic exterior covering a classic black/white damask printed glossy insert with single letter monogram. The push-lid seals tightly to the cup with a rubber ring and a no-spill sliding sip cover keeps your beverage from splashing out when closed.
Mugs also come in Pink & Green or Blue & Brown.
And to top it off, each mug comes in a coordinating gift box - in case you want to give one away!

Morning Yummies
Good Morning Mobsters, I sure hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!
We enjoyed having the family over for breakfast to celebrate Moms & Grandmas.
I found a few new recipes that I used yesterday for breakfast (compliments of Rachel Ray's Magazine). I made a yummy Stuffed French Toast that was a hit. Instead of peanut butter and chocolate, we opted for a Nutella & banana slices concoction and then cream cheese & blueberries for a second choice. Both were really tasty and worth trying!
I also tried a new recipe for Iced Cafe Mocha, it was easy and delicious, once I got the water measurement figured out. The recipe says to brew with 4 cups of water, which really means 4 coffee pot cups of water. I made the mistake of first brewing with 4 measuring cups of water. I'm going to make this one again and keep it in the fridge so I can sip on some anytime of the day instead of making an expensive trip to Starbucks!
Enjoy!

Mommy Dearest
If you weren't already aware... Mother's day is THIS weekend!
Even though I'm a mom now, I still feel like this holiday isn't for me. Worries about getting my mom, step-mom and mother-in-law gifts, getting the guest room ready for mom, cleaning the house and preparing Sunday morning brunch for the Grandmas. Ughh, where is my day of rest and relaxation?!
If you are in need of a gift still, I found a couple of fun items on the web. Check out this charming cottage birdhouse for the mom who enjoys bird watching. Or for the mom who grows her own herbs, this Herb garden is beautiful in the windowsill. And you can never go wrong with some bubbly and truffles packaged in a basket and delivered right to her door. But, hurry you only have a few days left. Whether you have a busy Mother's Day on your horizon or a day of rest, I wish all you mamas the best!
